In this post I will answer a lot of questions about tacos, plus the main question of “How Much Ground Beef Meat for the Best Homemade Tacos”
What kind of tacos can I make for a taco party or for “Taco Tuesday”?
The best part of making tacos is that there are so many types of tacos. This list can be endless, however I will try and name a few types of tacos to give you some ideas for your next party gathering.

You can buy taco seasoning at your local supermarket, but you can also make your own homemade taco seasoning with only a few simple ingredients. Usually, I don’t follow a taco meat recipe when I am seasoning my pounds of ground beef for tacos, I just sprinkle the following seasonings until the taste is perfect:
- chili powder
- garlic powder
- onion powder (optional – if I don’t have any then I just leave this one out)
- cumin
- cayenne pepper (optional)
- salt
- black pepper
At our house we make delicious tacos so many different ways. We may have soft tacos or crunchy tacos. Everyone in my house has their favorite meat. The kids like taco meat (ground beef) and my husband likes chicken on his tacos. So, I try to keep some shredded chicken breast in the freezer that I have already cooked or I purchased the grilled chicken that is already cooked, it is located in the freezer section of your local grocery store.
My favorite recipe is a classic choice. I take corn tortillas and fry them in a little coconut oil. I lay them flat in the hot oil and when they soften I will fold them over to make a taco and then continue to fry them until they are brown and crispy. Then, I will place them on some paper towels and fill them with my favorite taco toppings.
Also, I love to add a slice of American cheese to the soft corn tortillas before I fry them and once they are brown I will have crispy CHEESY tacos! So DELICIOUS! Y’all should give these a try! A simple delicious dish, plus cheap. ONLY, 2 ingredients – corn tortillas and sliced cheese! Then, I dip these crispy CHEESY tacos in guacamole or salsa! YUMMY!!!
