What kind of cheese goes on individual sliders? The most important step is to have melty cheese! For this recipe, I have chosen mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. However, most sliders have cheddar cheese slices, but any kind of cheese will work, for example:
- American cheese slices
- Pepper Jack slices

Can I eat leftover sliders the next day? Yes, you can eat leftover sliders as long as you store them in the refrigerator. Place leftovers in an airtight container or place a piece of aluminum foil over the casserole dish. Then, refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

- Hawaiian dinner rolls – 12 rolls
- 12 fully cooked chicken nuggets
- pizza sauce
- mozzarella cheese
- parmesan cheese
- optional – Garlic butter – find recipe here – take a small bowl and mix melted butter and garlic powder. Brush garlic butter onto the top half of the rolls before baking. This adds a delicious savory flavor to these ground beef sliders.

- Gather ingredients and supplies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees f
- Supplies: 9×12 inch pan and a sharp knife
- Take the rolls and using a bread knife or sharp knife cut them in half
- Spray the pan with non-stick cooking spray or optional piece of parchment paper in bottom of sheet pan
- You can also brush the pan with some of the garlic butter that you will add to the tops of the sliders. YUM!
- Place single layer of bottom buns into the bottom a greased baking dish
- Add a teaspoon of pizza sauce onto each bottom bun
- Add 1 chicken nugget to each bun
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each chicken nugget
- Spread a little pizza sauce onto the inside of each top bun
- Add the top buns to the sliders
- Brush garlic butter onto the tops of the rolls
- Sprinkle on parmesan cheese (You can also add the parmesan cheese 5 minutes before sliders are done cooking)
