This is an amazing meal that only has a few ingredients, but has endless possibilities. I have made pork chops and rice for my family for so many years that it became a weekly meal on our dinner menu.
The recipe can be added to or changed in so many ways to please anyone, here are a few ideas!
- add any kind of veggies to this recipe, for example broccoli or peas & carrots
- add chopped onion or bell peppers
- add different seasonings besides black pepper and salt, for example garlic powder, minced garlic, minced onion, ranch seasoning, any of your favorite seasonings from the grocery store
- if you do not like either of the soups, then add 2 of the one that you prefer or exchange them for cheddar soup or celery soup
- if you are on the keto diet, exchange the regular rice for frozen cauliflower rice
- regular rice or instant rice
- you can use any kind of rice besides white rice

- pork chops, either bone-in or boneless pork chops or pork steaks
- cream of mushroom soup
- cream of chicken soup
- regular or instant rice – or cauliflower rice, brown rice or any kind of rice
- black pepper
- salt
- water
How do I store leftover pork chops and rice?
Leftover pork chops and rice are yummy the next day. You can meal prep the leftovers into individual containers or add them to one large airtight container. To store the leftovers you will simply need to add the cooled leftovers to an airtight container and place them into the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

- Gather all your ingredients
- You will need your 9 x 12 baking dish, whisk, and a 1 cup measuring cup
- Add your cans of soup and water to baking dish
- The amount of water depends on your rice instructions, whether you use instant rice or regular rice
- Take the whisk and blend the soups and water together
- Add your rice to the soups and mix well
- Place your pork chops down into the soup mixture
- Place a sheet of aluminum foil over your baking dish
- Cook on at 360 degrees f for 1 – 1/2 hours until the rice is done and pork chops are at 165 degrees f. If you are unsure then you can always check your meat with a meat thermometer. 165 degrees f is the ideal temperature for your pork chops.
