OH MY YUM are these Easy Chocolate Croissants with 3 Ingredients!!!
Y’all, this has to be one of the EASIEST recipes that I have EVER made! What could be easier than a recipe that has only 3 ingredients and takes literally less than 15 minutes from start to finish.
What ingredients do I need for Chocolate Croissants? (scroll down for printable recipe card)
- crescent rolls
- Nutella
- powdered sugar
What supplies do I need to make Chocolate Croissants?
- baking sheet or cookie sheet
- spoon or knife
- spatula
How do I make Chocolate Croissants? (scroll down for printable recipe card)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees f – use the temperature that is on the crescent roll can
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray
- Open the can of crescent rolls, without them scaring you to death, LOL!
- Open up each crescent roll and spread on the Nutella. Spread the Nutella from end to end of the crescent rolls
- After you spread the Nutella on each crescent roll then roll up the roll starting at the wide end. Roll towards the small end of the crescent roll
- Place the rolled crescent roll on the baking sheet, placing the end of the rolled part face down onto the baking sheet
- Place the baking sheet into the preheated oven
- Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, be sure to check on them because they bake fast
- Remove from oven
- Sprinkle on the powdered sugar
- And, ENJOY!
How to store leftover chocolate croissants?
IF you have any chocolate croissants leftover, you simply place them into an airtight container or into a Zip-loc bag and store in a dry place. These chocolate croissants do not need to be refrigerated, however they can be frozen for later. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Can I use a can of biscuits instead of crescent rolls?
YES! If you do not have any crescent rolls, biscuits will work perfectly. Simply roll out each biscuit, spread on the Nutella and bake per biscuit can directions. Once the biscuits are done, sprinkle the chocolate biscuits with powdered sugar and ENJOY!
What can I add to my Nutella filling?
- finely chopped pecan, walnuts or peanuts
- peanut butter – spread a little peanut butter either over or under the Nutella spread
- coconut flakes
- granola
- any type of crushed cookies or candy bars
- caramel sauce
- marshmallow cream
