This recipe is almost too simple to post, but it is so easy and delicious that I had to let y’all know about it. I have been making this recipe for more years than I know of, lol.

It is a family favorite, especially with brown gravy poured over the top of the roast. Your local supermarket has a variety of brown gravy packets, plus jars of brown gravy to choose from.

I have always added my frozen roast to my crockpot and cooked it. By cooking a frozen roast, you will not need to add any extra liquids to the crockpot. The liquids from the frozen roast will help cook the roast, potatoes and carrots, keeping them moist and from drying out.

What kind of roast to buy?
