Y’all, this has to be one of the EASIEST recipes that I have EVER made! What could be easier than a recipe that has only a few ingredients and takes literally less than a few minutes from start to finish.
What ingredients do I need for apple pie cinnamon roll muffins? (scroll down for printable recipe card)
- cinnamon rolls
- apple pie filling
- streusel topping ingredients: flour, cinnamon, sugar, butter and brown sugar
What supplies do I need to make apple pie cinnamon roll muffins?
- muffin pan
- large bowl
- wooden spoon for mixing
- fork – blending the streusel topping
- measuring cups and measuring spoons
- nonstick cooking spray
How do I make apple pie cinnamon roll muffins? (scroll down for printable recipe card)
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees f
- Spray a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray
- Open the can of cinnamon rolls, without them scaring you to death, LOL!
- Take a cinnamon roll and press into one of the muffin tins and make a bowl by pressing down in the middle and up the sides
- Repeat with each cinnamon roll
- Spoon some apple pie filling into each cinnamon roll
- Take a large bowl and add the following ingredients to make the streusel topping: flour, cinnamon, sugar, brown sugar and melted/softened butter
- Take a fork and blend the streusel topping together. It will be clumpy and that is how you want it to be
- Sprinkle the streusel topping over the top of the apple pie filling
- Place the muffin pan into the preheated oven
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes, be sure to check on them because they bake fast
- Remove from oven
- Drizzle the top of the streusel with the icing that was in the cinnamon roll can
- And ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 2 cans (8 count each) cinnamon rolls
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
Streusel Topping
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp melted butter

How to store leftover apple pie cinnamon roll muffins?
IF you have any apple pie cinnamon roll muffin leftovers, you simply place them into an airtight container or into a Zip-loc bag and store in a dry place. These apple pie cinnamon roll muffins do need to be refrigerated or they can be frozen for later. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Can I use a can of biscuits instead of cinnamon rolls?
YES! If you do not have any cinnamon rolls, biscuits will work perfectly. Simply roll out each biscuit, press down into a muffin pan, spoon in the apple pie filling and add the streusel topping and bake per biscuit can directions. Once the biscuits are done, add the icing to the top and ENJOY!

- finely chopped pecan, walnuts or peanuts
