Who LOVES cheesy bacon? And, add some smokey bacon and WOW! These loaded bacon cheese fries can be a main dish, appetizer or a side dish.

Plus, you can add toppings, like: green onions, jalapenos, black olives, sour cream or ranch dressing. Topping ideas are endless, just checkout your favorite supermarket.

And, if you only want a 3 ingredient meal then just add bacon and cheese to your french fries. The toppings are optional and who doesn’t just love bacon and cheese!

This recipe has only a couple simple ingredients that can be purchased at your local grocery store.

  • french fries
  • shredded cheese – choose any kind of cheese that you like
  • bacon bits – you can use real bacon bits, imitation bacon bits or fry you up some bacon
  • optional toppings – green onions, jalapeno peppers, black olives, sour cream or ranch dressing

Any kind of cheese will work for this recipe, just choose your favorite cheese. Here are some ideas:

Not necessarily, french fries can be an appetizer or even a main dish. There are so many toppings that you can add to fries to make them a complete meal, here are some ideas:

  • chili and cheese
  • brown gravy and cheese curds
  • pulled pork
  • buffalo chicken
  • caramelized onions
  • pepperonis and cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees f.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Add frozen french fries to the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Flip the french fries halfway thru cooking.
  5. Remove french fries from the oven.
  6. Add the shredded cheese and bacon bits to the top of the french fries.
  7. Return the french fries to the oven and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from oven and add any additional toppings.
  9. Additional toppings can also be added after serving.
  10. Enjoy!
