These taquitos are so easy to make and delicious. With only 6 ingredients and 2 of those ingredients are seasonings. They take only a few minutes to prepare and then about 20 minutes in the oven or longer if you like yours really brown. That’s me, lol, the browner the better!
What is in Keto Chicken Ranch Taquitos? (scroll down for printable recipe card)
- canned chicken – or can cook some chicken breast or buy a rotisserie chicken from your local supermarket
- cream cheese
- shredded cheese – any kind of shredded cheese will work
- garlic powder seasoning
- dill weed seasoning
- low carb tortillas or keto tortillas
- non-stick oil
What supplies do I need to make chicken taquitos?
- medium size bowl
- wooden spoon
- fork
- 1/2 tsp measuring spoon
- 1 cup measuring cup
- baking sheet
This recipe will make 6 taquitos, but you can double the recipe and make 12 taquitos. That is what I do and then after I make them, I feel freeze them and bake at a later time.
Simply, place leftovers or uncooked taquitos into an airtight container or a Zip-loc bag and place into the freezer. They will stay good for up to 3 months in the freezer.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- Spray baking sheet with non stick cooking spray
- Take a medium mixing bowl
- Drain the can of chicken and add to the bowl
- Take a fork and flake up the chicken breast
- Add the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and seasonings to the chicken
- Mix up with a spoon or your hands (hands work best, lol)
- Divide up filling mixture into 6 equal parts
- Spread filling into each tortilla and fold over the tortilla
- Place tortilla on the the baking sheet
- Spray both sides of each taquito to help them crisp up
- Bake approximately 20 minutes or until the desired brownness is achieved.

Can I eat leftover keto chicken taquitos? Yes, as long as the leftovers have been in the refrigerator. Once the taquitos have cooled, place the leftovers into an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
How do I reheat chicken taquitos? You can bake them again in the oven or you can reheat the taquitos in the microwave. The taquitos will not be crispy if reheated in the microwave, but they are still yummy!
