I have to confess that I have LOVED potato chips and chip cravings have been the hardest thing to overcome. Yes, I have tried pork rinds and they are OK, but I crave tortilla chips, especially with my favorite salsa!
So, one night I was making a mexican dish and found myself making this Keto tortilla chip recipe. This recipe is easy and has a couple of simple ingredients.
What is in low-carb tortilla chips?
- low carb tortillas – your local grocery stores has a variety of keto tortillas and low carb tortillas to choose from.
- regular salt or sea salt
- olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil – choose your favorite oil
What other seasonings can I add to my low carb chips?
There are so many seasonings at your local supermarket to choose from. I am partial to just olive oil and sea salt, however some individuals love more spice. So, I have listed some of my other favorite seasonings to add to your keto friendly tortilla chips:
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- chili powder
- sesame seeds
What supplies do I need to make keto-friendly tortilla chips?
- pizza cutter or sharp knife
- cutting board
- baking sheet or cookie sheet
- oven or air fryer
For those keto dieters who are strict keto and do no want to eat low carb tortillas or keto tortillas, there is another recipe that can be made into homemade tortilla chips or low-carb tortillas. This recipe will take a little more work than this one, but it is a great recipe for those who want salty snacks.
This easy recipe is our “Keto Dinner Roll” recipe or what some call fathead dough. It’s ingredients consists of almond flour or coconut flour, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, eggs, baking powder and baking soda.
You will follow this recipe and roll the dough into balls, place dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper and with a rolling pin or tortilla press make round tortillas. Then, if you want keto nacho chips you will cut tortillas into triangles and bake until golden brown.

- Preheat oven
- Spray baking sheet with oil or place a piece of parchment paper on baking pan
- Take a pizza cutter and cut tortillas into triangles
- Place tortilla chips on the baking sheet in a single layer
- Spritz chips with oil and sprinkle salt on the chips (secret ingredient is sea salt) or any of your favorite seasonings
- Bake 6-7 minutes
- Flip tortilla chips and spritz with more oil and salt
- Cook for approximately 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from pan and place on paper towels
- ENJOY!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees f
- Spray baking sheet with oil or place a piece of parchment paper on baking pan
- Take a pizza cutter and cut each tortilla into 8 triangles
- Place tortilla chips on the baking sheet in a single layer
- Spritz chips with oil and sprinkle salt on the chips (secret ingredient is sea salt) or any of your favorite seasonings
- Bake 5-6 minutes
- Flip tortilla chips and spritz with more oil and salt (or your favorite seasonings)
- Cook for approximately 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from pan and place on paper towels
