- can of cinnamon rolls
- cooked sausage links or sausage patties – you will need to either cook your sausage or buy fully cooked sausage from the grocery store.
Do I have to add the icing to my pigs in the blanket?
No, another great option and a less messier one for the kiddos is to leave out the icing and dip your pigs in a blanket into pancake syrup. I prefer the pancake syrup, it is SO yummy!
However, you could dip your little piggies into syrup, honey, jams or jellies, OH MY YUM!
How do I store my leftover pigs in a blanket?
Simply place any cooled leftovers into an airtight container or a Zip-loc bag and refrigerate for up to 3 days or place into the freezer for up to 3 months.
Do I need name brand cinnamon rolls?
No, any brand of cinnamon rolls will work for this recipe. Actually, I prefer to buy generic brands than name brands. But, either one will work out great!
