One Pot Cheeseburger Pasta

If you need an EASY and CHEAP meal to prepare for your family this is it! All the ingredients are simple and you more than likely you will have them all in stock in your kitchen. So, give my one pot cheeseburger pasta meal a try!

My kids love hamburger helper, but this meal had my kids coming back for seconds and thirds, LOL! It may have been all the cheese, but whatever it takes for my kids to LOVE my meals then I’m all for it!

What ingredients are in cheeseburger pasta? (scroll down for the full printable recipe card)

  • ground beef – any ground meat can be used in this recipe, for example: ground turkey, ground chicken or ground sausage
  • onion – any kind of onion will work, whether it be white, yellow or a purple onion
  • beef broth
  • water
  • milk
  • ketchup
  • worcestershire sauce
  • garlic powder or minced garlic, whatever you have on hand in your kitchen
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • rotini pasta – any type of pasta will work, for example: elbow, bowtie, shells, just whatever that you have on hand in your kitchen
  • shredded cheese – any kind of shredded cheese will work: sharp, cheddar, colby jack or pepper jack, any kind.

How do I make a one pot cheeseburger pasta meal? (scroll down for the full printable recipe card)

  1. Place a large skillet over medium high heat
  2. Add your ground meat and diced onion
  3. Once the ground meat is brown and done pour off any excess grease
  4. Add the beef broth, water, milk, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper
  5. Once this mixture comes to a boil, add the UNCOOKED rotini pasta noodles and reduce heat to medium
  6. Cover with a lid and simmer until the pasta noodles are soft and done
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese
  8. Stir in the shredded cheese until it is completely melted
  9. Serve and enjoy with your favorite side dish

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb box rotini pasta (UNCOOKED)
  • 3-4 cups shredded cheese (I used 4 cups)

Instructions
