Yes! To make this salad a complete meal, add some extra protein, here are some examples:
- rotisserie chicken
- drained cans of chicken breasts
- leftover chicken
- pepperonis
- chopped ham
- smoked sausage
- chopped up lunch meat, like turkey or ham

- red onion or any kind of onion will work
- sunflower seeds or any kind of chopped nuts
- shredded cheese or cubed cheese – any kind will work, I prefer sharp cheddar, but Pepper Jack cheese would be yummy too!
- bacon or bacon bits
- white distilled vinegar
- white sugar
- mayo

- Take a large bowl and add the mayo, vinegar and sugar
- Whisk the mayo dressing until its completely mixed
- Add chopped broccoli, chopped onion, sunflower seeds, shredded cheese, bacon
- Take a wooden spoon and mix well, completely covering the salad with the dressing
- Chill and serve!

Ingredients
- 4-6 cups of broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup bacon
Sweet Mayo Dressing
- 1 cup mayo
- 3 Tbsp white distilled vinegar
- 2 Tbsp white sugar
Instructions
