Garden veggies are the best ever!
This is an AMAZING recipe! The simple ingredient list makes it so easy to prepare and I love that I can find all the ingredients at my local supermarket or your garden.

- hamburger patties
- pork chops
- grilled chicken or a rotisserie chicken
- steak
- pinto beans
- baked beans
- corn on the cob
- fresh tomatoes and onion

This recipe has only a couple simple ingredients that can be purchased at your local grocery store.
- okra
- yellow or green squash
- potatoes
- onion
- corn meal
- salt
- black pepper
- vegetable oil
How do I make Fried Okra Squash and Potatoes? (scroll down for the printable recipe card)
- Cut up the okra, squash, onion and potatoes (watch youtube video)
- Add the veggies to a large bowl and add the cornmeal, salt and black pepper. Mix well
- Take a large skillet and place it over medium high heat
- Add the vegetable oil to the pan, enough to cover the bottom of the pan
- Once the oil is hot, add the okra, squash, onion and potatoes to the skillet. Then, place a lid on top of the skillet
- Turn veggies when they begin to brown and remove lid once the potatoes are soft
- Cook until the veggies are brown and crispy
- Remove veggies from the oil and onto some paper towels

- 2 cups of okra
- 1 small onion
- 1 cup corn meal
