Easy Smoked Sausage Cowboy Beans

This is an AMAZING recipe!  The simple ingredient list makes it so easy to prepare and I love that I can find all the ingredients at my local supermarket.

PLUS, adding ground beef instead of smoked sausage is delicious too. AND, add some crispy bacon! OH MY YUM!

  • Place a large skillet over medium high heat
  • Drizzle olive oil into skillet
  • Add chopped onion and begin to saute
  • Dice up smoked sausage links and add to the onion
  • Add brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and black pepper
  • Simmer until onion are soft and sausage is browning
  • Add cans of beans and simmer for approximately 5 minutes
  • Serve and enjoy

Ingredients

  • 14 oz or more of smoked sausage
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • drizzle of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 28 oz can Bush's baked beans brown sugar hickory
  • 15 oz can Van Camp's pork and beans

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium high heat
